Privacy Policy
The free tools need no account and store nothing you type into them. Boostlix Clipper and Boostlix Notes have accounts; their sections below explain what they keep. This page lists everything that is collected.

1.Who we are
Boostlix is a brand of Shamil Mubarak K P, based in Kerala, India, who is responsible for the personal data described on this page. For anything about your data, email boostlixcom@gmail.com.
2.The free tools
Every tool runs in your browser. The numbers you enter, and the images, PDFs and other files you add, are processed on your device. They are not sent to Boostlix and are not stored anywhere by us.
Some tools download what they need to run: the Background Remover downloads its AI model from Hugging Face and its runtime from jsDelivr the first time you use it, and your browser caches them. As with any download, those services see your IP address; your images are never sent to them.
A few conveniences are kept in your browser’s local storage: your chosen currency, recent UTM links, and whether an AI model has already been downloaded. They stay on your device; clear site data in your browser to remove them.
3.Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and tools are used, so we know what to improve and what to build next. It records things such as pages viewed, approximate location (country or city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived.
If you visit from the European Economic Area (EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway), the UK or Switzerland, or we cannot tell where you are, analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner; if you reject, or have not chosen, Google Consent Mode keeps Google Analytics to basic cookieless signals that are not linked to an identifier on your device. Elsewhere analytics is on from the start. Everyone can change their choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer. To know which applies, we look up the country of your IP address in a database on our own server (IP geolocation by DB-IP); the address and country are not stored.
We also record a small number of events, such as a tool being used or a related tool being opened. These contain the tool’s name and a general outcome (for example "profitable"), never the values you entered.
4.Advertising
Boostlix does not show advertising. We advertise Boostlix Clipper and Boostlix Notes with Google Ads, Meta and Whop and measure whether the ads lead to a sign-up, a free trial or a purchase. Google receives that a trial started or a plan was bought (with the plan and price). Meta receives the pages viewed and that an account was created (with which product), and may link this to your Facebook or Instagram account under its own privacy policy. Whop receives the pages viewed and when an account is created (with your email address and name), a free trial is started or requested, and a video or meeting is added; its pixel recognises your browser with a random identifier and basic device characteristics. These services may set advertising cookies. Nothing you upload, type, clip or record is shared. Where we must ask first, this is off unless you accept it; elsewhere you can turn it off in "Cookie settings". See the Cookie Policy for details.
5.Server logs
Like almost every website, our web server keeps standard access logs: IP address, time, the page requested, browser user agent and referring page. They are used for security, abuse prevention and fixing errors, and are rotated and deleted automatically after a short period.
6.Email
If you email us at boostlixcom@gmail.com, we keep the conversation for as long as needed to answer it and for our records. We do not add you to any mailing list.
7.Boostlix Clipper
When you use Boostlix Clipper (clip.boostlix.com) we process: your email address, the name and country you give when you sign up (the country decides whether you pay in rupees or US dollars), and sign-in sessions (with the browser and IP address recorded for each session, to keep your account secure); sign-in codes, stored only in hashed form and expiring after 10 minutes; the videos you upload or import, the audio extracted for transcription, transcripts, AI-generated moment suggestions, caption edits and the clips you render; how much video and how many clips you have used; and your plan, renewal dates and payment status.
Source videos are deleted automatically 3 days after upload and rendered clips 7 days after rendering; extracted audio is deleted right after transcription. Transcripts, suggestions and project details are kept until you delete the project or your account.
To analyse a video, its audio is sent to our speech-to-text provider (Deepgram, or for Malayalam videos Google's Gemini API on a paid plan) with model training switched off, and the transcript to our AI provider (Anthropic), which does not train its models on this data. We do not use your content to train our own models.
Payments are handled by Whop. We never see your full card details; we receive a membership or payment reference and its status.
To give each person one free trial, we keep one-way keyed hashes (not the values themselves) of your normalised email address, a random device identifier stored in a first-party cookie (bx_did), a summary of browser characteristics, and your network range. They are used only to detect repeated trials and abuse, and kept as long as your account exists.
We send sign-in codes and plan notices (for example when 80% of your plan is used or a trial is ending). We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in. You can delete any project at any time; to delete your account, email us.
8.Boostlix Notes
When you use Boostlix Notes (notes.boostlix.com) we process: your email address, name, country and sign-in sessions, as for Clipper; the Google Meet links you add and the names you give meetings; for each meeting the bot attends, the meeting audio and a video of the meeting view, the names Google Meet shows for the people speaking and its live captions, and on Pro the transcript, the AI-written minutes and any changes you make; how many meetings you have used; and your plan and payment status.
The people in a meeting you record are not our users, but their voices, names and what they say are in the recording and the transcript. We process this only to provide Notes to the person who sent the bot, who must have the right to record the meeting. The bot announces itself in the meeting chat. Anyone recorded can email boostlixcom@gmail.com to ask about or object to a recording, and we will work with the account holder to resolve it.
Recordings are deleted automatically after 7 days (free plan) or 90 days (Pro). Transcripts and minutes are kept until you delete the meeting or your account.
On Pro, to transcribe a meeting, its audio is sent to Google’s Gemini API on a paid plan, under which Google does not use it to improve its products; to write the minutes, the transcript is sent to Anthropic, which does not train its models on it. We do not use meetings to train our own models.
On Pro you can connect an AI tool such as Claude or ChatGPT to Notes (MCP). The tool can then read your meetings when you ask it to; what it reads is processed by that tool under its own privacy terms. Each connection is listed on the Plan page and can be disconnected at any time.
9.Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with the services that make the site work:
- Google (Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement).
- Meta Platforms (ad measurement for Facebook and Instagram ads, only with advertising consent where it is required).
- Razorpay (payments in Indian rupees for Clipper and Notes; card, UPI and bank details go to Razorpay, never to us).
- Whop (ad measurement for ads on Whop’s network, only with advertising consent where it is required).
- Hugging Face and jsDelivr, which serve the Background Remover’s AI model and runtime files to your browser (no images or personal data are sent to them).
- Our hosting provider, which stores the server and its logs.
- For Boostlix Clipper: Deepgram and, for Malayalam videos, Google (speech-to-text), Anthropic (AI analysis), Whop (payments) and Resend (email delivery). Some of these process data in the United States.
- For Boostlix Notes: Google (Gemini API, speech-to-text; Google Meet, where the meetings take place), Anthropic (minutes), Whop (payments) and Resend (email delivery). Some of these process data in the United States.
10.Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to its use. Email boostlixcom@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
11.Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
