Boostlix Notes Terms of Service

When you add a Google Meet link, a bot named "Boostlix Notetaker" asks to join that meeting. Once someone in the meeting admits it, it records the meeting (the meeting view and audio), notes who is speaking from Google Meet’s captions, and leaves when the meeting ends or when you ask it to. Afterwards Notes emails you a link to the recording and, on Pro, writes a transcript and minutes (summary, decisions, action items and more) and emails them to you.

Transcripts and minutes are produced by AI. They can miss or mishear words, attribute speech to the wrong person, or summarise inaccurately. Check anything important before you rely on it or share it.

Recording conversations is regulated in many places, and some laws require the consent of everyone in the conversation. You are responsible for having the right to record each meeting you send the bot to, and for telling the other participants that it is recording.

The bot joins under a visible name, asks to be admitted like any guest, and posts a message in the meeting chat saying that it is recording. Anyone with the right permissions in the meeting can remove it. Do not send the bot to a meeting where any participant has objected to being recorded, and do not use Notes to record people secretly.

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email; keep access to that email secure. You are responsible for activity on your account and for every meeting you send the bot to.

• One person per account. Accounts may not be shared to get around plan limits.
• You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use Notes.

The free plan records 10 meetings each calendar month (UTC), of any length. It gives you the recording only, to watch on the meeting page (not to download) for 7 days; it does not include transcripts or minutes. A meeting counts when it is added, unless it is cancelled before the bot is admitted or the bot is not let in. When many meetings start at once, Pro meetings are joined first, so a free meeting may be joined a few minutes late or recorded as audio only.

Pro is a monthly subscription at US$15 a month. It includes 60 meetings each billing month, of any length, each with a transcript and minutes, video recording, recording downloads and 90-day recording storage. Unused meetings do not carry over. After upgrading, you can have meetings recorded on the free plan transcribed while their recording is still kept.

Payments are processed by Whop; prices are in US dollars, and the checkout can show the amount in your local currency. Boostlix is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged. Your bank may add its own fees or currency-conversion charges.

Pro renews automatically every month on the date you subscribed, until you cancel. If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays active for 3 days while the payment is retried; after that your account returns to the free plan until the payment succeeds.

Video recording uses more server capacity. When many video meetings run at the same moment, a meeting may be recorded as audio only; the transcript and minutes are not affected. For safety, the bot leaves any meeting after 6 hours.

We may change prices for future months. We will email you at least 14 days before a change applies to your plan, and you can cancel before then.

You can cancel at any time from Plan in Notes. Pro stays active until the end of the month you have paid for and is not renewed.

You keep all rights to your recordings, transcripts and minutes. You give Boostlix permission to store, process and transmit them only as needed to provide Notes to you, which includes sending meeting audio to our speech-to-text provider (Google’s Gemini API, on a paid plan whose data is not used to train Google’s models) and transcripts to our AI provider (Anthropic), which does not train its models on this data. We do not use your meetings to train our own models, and we never publish or share them.

Recordings are deleted automatically after 7 days on the free plan and 90 days on Pro, counted from the day the meeting ended and following the plan the meeting was recorded on. Transcripts and minutes stay until you delete the meeting or your account. Deleting a meeting removes its recording, transcript and minutes.

Do not use Notes to:

• Record people without the consent the law requires, or record meetings you were not invited to.
• Record content that is illegal, sexually exploits minors, promotes violence or terrorism, or harasses others.
• Get around plan limits or payment, or resell access.
• Probe, overload or attack the service, or access other users’ data.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or are used for abuse or fraud, and we may act on complaints from meeting participants. Where reasonable, we will tell you why first. If a payment is disputed with your bank, new purchases are paused while the dispute is open.

Notes is a new service that depends on Google Meet, which can change without notice. The bot may sometimes fail to join, be refused, or stop recording, and processing times vary. We may improve, change or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces Pro, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused part of the month.

Notes is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not guarantee that recordings, transcripts or minutes are complete or accurate, and we are not liable for indirect losses, or for claims arising from meetings you chose to record.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about Notes is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your rights as a consumer.

You can delete meetings at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing boostlixcom@gmail.com. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kerala have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you and show a notice in Notes at least 14 days before the change applies to your plan.
