How to Make a QR Code for Google Reviews, a Location, a Google Form or a Payment
Step-by-step: get the right link for your Google review page, a Google Maps location, a Google Form or a UPI payment, and turn it into a free QR code that never expires, with tips for printing it.
Every one of these QR codes is a link in disguise. Copy the right link (your Google review link from your Business Profile, a Google Maps share link, a Google Form's send link, or a UPI payment link), paste it into a QR code generator as a website or text code, test it with your phone, then download it as PNG or SVG. A static QR code made this way never expires, because it holds the link itself.
Do it now, free and without uploading anything: QR Code Generator, WhatsApp Link Generator, UTM Builder.
A QR code is just a link that a phone camera can read. The work is in finding the right link; the QR code itself takes seconds with a free QR code generator. Here is how to get the link for the four most-asked uses.
QR code for Google reviews
- Sign in to the Google account that manages your Business Profile.
- Search for your business name on Google or open it in Google Maps.
- Choose Ask for reviews (sometimes shown as Get more reviews) and copy the link.
- In the QR code generator, choose Website, paste the link and download the code.
Put it where customers wait or pay: the counter, the bill, a table tent, a delivery box. A short line helps: "Happy with us? Scan to leave a Google review." Do not offer a discount or gift in return; Google's review policy forbids incentives and such reviews can be removed.
QR code for a location
- Open the place in Google Maps (search for the business or drop a pin).
- Tap Share and copy the link.
- In the QR code generator, choose Website, paste the link and download.
Scanning opens the place in the phone's maps app, ready for directions. Useful on wedding invitations, event posters, flyers and shop signs.
QR code for a Google Form
- Open the form and choose Send.
- Choose the link option and copy it (shorten it if offered).
- In the QR code generator, choose Website, paste the link and download.
Test it in a private browser window first: if the form only accepts responses from your organisation, people outside it will see a sign-in page.
QR code for a UPI payment
The most reliable payment QR is the one your bank or UPI app gives you (in PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm or your bank's app, look for your business or receive-money QR). It is tied to your verified account.
You can also make a UPI QR from a payment link:
upi://pay?pa=yourname@bank&pn=Your%20Name
pais your UPI ID andpnis the name shown to the payer (spaces written as%20).- You can add a fixed amount with
&am=500and&cu=INR.
In the generator, choose Text, paste the link and download. Before printing, scan it with a UPI app and send yourself a small payment to check the UPI ID and name are right.
QR codes for social profiles and WhatsApp
- Instagram, Facebook, YouTube or LinkedIn: copy the profile link and use Website.
- WhatsApp chat with a message ready: build a wa.me link with the WhatsApp link generator, which can also make the QR code.
- Wi-Fi: use the generator's Wi-Fi type so guests join without typing the password.
Printing tips
- Test every code with two different phones before printing a batch.
- Size: at least 2 × 2 cm for a table or counter; bigger for posters read from a distance.
- Contrast: dark code on a light background. Light codes on dark backgrounds fail on many phones.
- Leave a margin of blank space around the code.
- Use SVG for print shops and large formats, so the code stays sharp at any size.
- Track scans from posters or flyers by adding UTM tags to the link with the UTM builder before making the code.
