Clipper vs Munch

A Munch alternative from $19 a month

Munch is a repurposing suite for marketing teams: clips, publishing to five social platforms and a content planner, from $38 a month. Boostlix Clipper costs less and does less around the clip: it reads a long video, ranks up to 30 moments with the opening line and the reasons for each, and exports 1080p clips with captions you can correct. Here is the honest difference, checked on Munch’s own pricing page on 13 October 2026.

Choose Clipper if

  • You want a lower monthly price: Clipper Starter is $19 a month for 5 hours of video and 100 clips.
  • You want to see why each moment was picked, with its hook and reasons, before you export it.
  • You clip Twitch or Kick VODs and want to import only the hours you need.
  • You post yourself or through your own scheduler and do not need a content planner.

Stay with Munch if

You you want clips, publishing to five social platforms and a content planner in one tool, with 500 or 1,000 minutes of video a month.

Munch's plans also include more minutes for the price at the top end (1,000 minutes on Premium). Clipper has no automatic posting yet, no 4K and no B-roll or stock footage, and its moment-finding has been built and tested mainly on English speech.

Try it on the same video

The fairest test is one real video through both tools. Upload the same VOD or episode to Clipper’s free trial and compare the moments each one picks. You can also see a full unedited run first: 26 moments from a 47-minute interview.
