Long streams, one section at a time

Streams run for hours, so Clipper imports the part you choose rather than the whole VOD. Enter a start and an end time, the way the VOD player shows them, and only that section is downloaded and counted towards your hours.

Shorter sections download in higher quality: up to about an hour stays at 1080p, and longer sections step down so they fit. Each section can be up to 2 h on Starter and 4 h on Pro.

What it is good at, and what it is not

  • Good at: streams with talking. Reactions, rants, stories, hot takes, banter with chat or guests, and IRL streams.
  • Not yet: moments with no speech, such as a silent clutch play, and automatic posting. Clips export as MP4 files that you post yourself or through a scheduler.

Questions

Can I paste a Twitch or Kick VOD link?

Yes, on paid plans. Paste the VOD link from Twitch, Kick or YouTube; Clipper downloads it on our server, so nothing needs to run on your computer.

My VOD is 10 hours long. Can Clipper handle it?

Import just the part you need by giving a start and end time, for example 2:00:00 to 5:30:00. Only that section is downloaded and counted towards your hours. Each section can be up to 4 h on the Pro plan.

Does it find gameplay moments with no talking?

Not yet. Clipper finds moments from what is said, so reactions, rants, stories and banter work well; a silent highlight such as a clutch play with no commentary will not be found.

Can I use the clips for a clipping campaign?

Yes, when the campaign gives you permission to use the stream. Platforms now reduce reach for clips with nothing added, so add your own hook line, captions or commentary; Clipper gives you editable captions and vertical framing to start from.

Can I try it for free?
