Increase Image Size to 100 KB

Choose a photo or signature and get a JPG of at least 100 KB for forms that ask for at least 100 KB, with exactly the same picture and pixel size.

Use the form's minimum, e.g. 20 for 20–50 KB. The file ends just above it.

Choose an image to raise it to at least 100 KB.

Why forms reject small files

Many exam and job portals set a minimum as well as a maximum file size, so a clean signature scan of 8 KB is rejected as firmly as a 2 MB phone photo. As published for the 2026 cycle:

FormAllowed size
SSC CGL signature10–20 KB, JPG
IBPS signature10–20 KB, JPG
IBPS photo and thumb impression20–50 KB, JPG
UPSC photo20–200 KB, JPG

Always check the notice for your own form; rules change between years.

How the size goes up without changing the picture

A JPG file can carry comment data that image viewers and upload checkers ignore. The tool adds just enough of it to bring the file over the size you enter. The pixels, the pixel size and the quality are exactly what they were, so the photo looks the same and still meets the form’s pixel rules.

  • Aim for the minimum. For a 20–50 KB range, enter 20: the file ends just above it, well under the maximum.
  • Too big instead? Use the image compressor or the 50 KB and 20 KB presets.
  • Need the right pixel size first? Make the photo with the passport photo maker or the signature with the signature maker, then raise the file size here.

Frequently asked questions

How can a file get bigger without changing the picture?

The tool adds comment data to the JPG file. Image viewers and upload checkers ignore it, so the picture, pixel size and quality stay exactly the same while the file size goes up to the size you need.

Will the form accept it?

For file size, yes: the result is just above the size you enter, whether the form counts 1 KB as 1,000 or 1,024 bytes. Check the form's other rules too, such as the pixel size and a maximum size, so a 20–50 KB range needs 20, not 60.

Can I increase the pixel size instead?

Enlarging a small photo makes it blurry and changes the pixel size the form may require. Raising the file size this way keeps the photo exactly as it is.

What formats work?

JPG, PNG and WebP. The result is always a JPG, the format most forms ask for; PNG and WebP images are converted once at high quality.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser; the photo never leaves your device.
