AI note taker for Google Meet

An AI note taker for Google Meet that works on any account

Paste the meeting link, admit the bot, and get on with the meeting. Boostlix Notes records it, writes who said what, and emails you the minutes when it ends. It works whoever organised the meeting and whatever Google plan they have.

Why a bot, and not an extension or Gemini

  • An extension runs on your own computer, so it only works when you are in the meeting on that browser. A bot joins on its own: you can even send it to a meeting you cannot attend.
  • Google Meet's "Take notes for me" (Gemini) needs an eligible paid plan on the organiser's side and supports 8 languages, one per meeting. A bot works on any account and any language mix.
  • The bot is visible: it asks to join, has to be admitted, and says in the chat that it is recording. Nobody is recorded without seeing it.

What you get after each meeting

  • The recording (video of the meeting view), playable from any line of the transcript.
  • A transcript with the names Google Meet shows for each speaker, in the language each person spoke.
  • Minutes: summary, decisions, action items with owners and due dates, what the client asked for, what the team committed to, open questions and the next meeting.
  • An email with the minutes and a PDF to forward, in English or 8 other languages.

Free or paid?

The free plan records 10 Google Meet meetings a month, of any length, to watch online for 7 days. Pro ($15 a month) adds the transcript and minutes for 60 meetings a month, downloads and 90-day storage, and can transcribe meetings you recorded on Free while their recording is kept.

Questions

Is there a free AI note taker for Google Meet?

Yes. Boostlix Notes records 10 meetings a month free; transcripts and minutes are on Pro. Fathom lists unlimited free recordings, Tactiq gives 10 transcripts a month free, and Read.ai 5 meetings a month. See the comparison page for details.

Does it work if I am not the meeting host?

Yes. The bot asks to join like any guest; whoever is managing the meeting admits it. Nothing is needed from the organiser's Google plan.

Does it work on gmeet links from a phone?

Yes. You add the link from any browser, phone included, and the bot joins from our server. You can be in the meeting on your phone, laptop or not at all.

Can I give the bot my company name?

The bot joins as "Boostlix Notetaker" so everyone can see what it is. Custom bot names are not available yet.
